So the "game-tweens" have roosted upon my shoulder. I don't say this lightly, as this is a terrible burden to bear! When your blood is tinged with the indelible hue of PC gaming, and there isn't some mouse-popping, keyboard slamming game that has gripped your heart, you experience gaming anemia. Because your blood has been weakened by a lack of this necessary vitamin, a myriad of infirmities may grip you.
About that time is when the dark wings of the game-tweens carry their foreboding message to your ear, alighting upon your shoulders with an unbearable weight. Its like staring at a thousand games of Monopoly/Scrabble that you have been commanded/sentenced to play--BOARD GAMES. Have you ever been on fire? Me neither, but I imagine it is a comparable pain, although the fire will eventually go out.
Okay, so true, there are games to be played. I won't argue that! Right now I am playing some CoD:4 (which is a blast), checking out AA3 (no comment NDA), hitting the nostalgia pipe and toying with Civ IV...all of these providing some of the medicine to allay the total shutdown of my system.
But here is the kicker--gaming isn't gaming unless your teammates are there by your side. Yes, I am sweating out the fever of the game-tweens and occasionally finding relief from the twitching that is symptomatic of this heinous affliction. But without Dragon Wolves alongside me--and let me just say: THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR A PLATOON OF HOWLING DRAGON WOLVES IN ASSAULT MODE--my blood remains diluted.
I need a remedy for the game-tweens. I have to have something that can inject the nutrients that my gamers' blood requires. Somebody dial 911...there has to be somebody out there with the answer. |

So we were aggregating some RSS feeds for our newswire which was all well and dandy until it started crashing our Web Server. As such you will only see CDL news here from now on.
Hopefully we can get more than one post in a year! |

Although the Christmas Season is fraught with stress and it seems we are more busy than ever, I do wish and hope that each one of us pauses for a moment to recognize the one aspect that seems to be the core of this celebration: the giving of gifts.
You may not celebrate Christmas as I do or the next person does, but we can all recognize that the giving of gifts seems to represent the heart of this period of the year. We are fast approaching the New Year and the time for reflecting on those we love and wishing to give them a token representing that love is on our hearts and minds.
I wish I had the ability to give each one of the Dragon Wolves a very special present that I could deliver personally to them. I have so many friends here and they truly each one mean something to me. But since it is not possible for me to fulfill that wish of mine, I take this opportunity to wish each of you the best during this Christmas season.
From my heart to your hearts - I wish you all a Merry Christmas. May God bless you all as He has me. |

So another year and plenty more for which to be thankful. Family, friends, and an abundance of blessings. I count it a privilege to be associated and to be friends with such an awesome gaming family. I salute my fellow Dragon Wolves!
I truly desire for each of you to have warm and peaceful Thanksgiving day dinners and times of sharing with special loved ones. Cherish these moments for they often are few and far between and you never know when things will change.
Hail and well met, Dragon Wolves! Happy Thanksgiving! |

This year's Rally is now one for the record books but the CDL again had an amazing time! The DragonWolves converged on the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee for a new venue on our 5th Rally year. We setup shop in a luxury cabin that slept 20 and spent time reminiscing, cooking, and listening to old shoutcasts.
A highlight of this years trip was Josh he made our group trip to the Go-Kart track an amazing one by having a great sense of humor and even allowing us to race all together while another was on the track taking photos!
