I understand the study. I even appluad it's attempts, but I have a few questions.

1 - How is simulated violence different then video game violence, since they are both simulations?

2 - Why such a small number of test subjects? Why such a small demographic of the gaming population?

    3 - Why only males?

4 - What types of ppl were these that tested? Serious gamers, casual, non-gamer, or a mix of them all? Also, what types of ppl socially; introvert, extrovert, shy n quiet, loud n outspoken, etc...?

5 - Studies like these are great to read, but they seem to bumble around some basic scietific priciples just to prove their point. To me that is sloppy workmanship and bases results on unreliable processes.

yeah 60 mins did some violent games cause people to kill cops thing a couple of nights ago saying it was the game not the fact that the kid was mentally unstable or anything, or that the parents didn't stop the kid for literally playing for night and day for weeks.

and yeah lots of studies are lacking in major areas. Just goes to show you you need to take everything with a grain of salt whether it's published or not.

One hundred people each eat a strawberry. Ninety eight thoroughly enjoyed the sweet experience one was grossed out by the tiny seeds on the outside and one had to go to the hospital because his throat started closing up and his body covered itself in hives. Go figure.

  8. I keeping going back to the fact that a mouse or controller is not as heavy and has the same force kick back as a gun. All the game playing in the world wont give the same feel of shooting.

One thing I read also pointed out that they don't know if these players were aggressive before playing video games.

70 Years ago it was comic books. People need to take reasonability for their own actions and quit blaming what they don't know.
