I love the smell of scrambled eggs and ketchup. I'm not sure why. I don't remember eating this growing up but I love the smell. It makes me think of a happy family.

Smells are supposed to be your strongest memories. Do you guys have any crazy smell memories?

The fondest I have: while camping the smell of potatoes being fried up over a fire along with the subsequent pea soup in the evening.

  3. My absolute favorite is the smell of fall. The combination of dry leaves, wood smoke and apples.

I like the smell off freshly mowed grass. It makes me think of warm, sunny days, being lazy, and playing in sprinklers.

The smell that always strikes me is weird: Damp basement with old Pipe smoke. My grandfather's workbench was in the basement, and he smoked pipe down there (and no were else).

Reminds me of family, history, and awe.

  6. LoL i remember some line from a movie,

You look onrey enuff to fart in the bathtub and turn around to bite it to make sure it stinks!

Really though there are alot of Smells i like, but I agree with Queen Fresh cut Grass bring alots of happy thoughts.

The musty smell of old airplanes. It reminds me of when me and my brothers used to go to the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio on the weekends and run around looking at all the old exhibits. We had great times there and it was so fun exploring the place.

Coffee on Sunday mornings. I don't do it now, but when I didn't work the vampire shift I'm on now the wife and I would wake up and watch TV with coffee in hand til around 10am.

  9. Freshly Ground coffee beans.

A freshly opened pack of cigarettes. (No I don't smoke unless I'm on fire, but a freshly opened pack smells nice :) )

  10. Fresh cut grass is a good one.

Fresh brewed coffee in the morning.

    The new car smell.

New rug smell and fresh paint reminds me of new beginnings.

Arg the smell of a freshly opened pack of smokes is what got me started smoking the damn things to begin with! Great smell.

Cigarette smoke, the outdoors and the smell of beer reminds me of good times with friends.

Cigarette smoke, the smell of beer and the smell of an amp just warming up makes me think of nervous pre-stage jitters.

The smell of cotton candy reminds me of my wife - she bought this cheap ass perfume a year ago that smells faintly like cotton candy. Everytime I smell the stuff I think of her.

I'll add fresh cut grass as well!

    Bread baking in the oven...

A nice stew/roast that's been cooking for hours or steaks on a barbie...

    Fireworks...

Babies... (and not the nasty end! ;) )

  12. Fireworks! Yes Granite.

The stew one is a good one.

    How about:

The smell of a fireplace (or wood burning) on a cold night.

  13. The smell of raspberry and wild strawberries, like we used to pick during the summer in New York.

That earthy smell in the woods around the lake.

The clean, fresh smell of the air after a rainstorm (Florida excluded).

The briney smell of the Gulf of Mexico.

The musty smell at the barn where my aunt stabled her horses.

Apple fritters my mom used to make.

And I think the flower is called plumeria? Reminds me of a former girlfriend who used to smell like that when we went to bed.

  14. The smell of line dried sheets. My mother always hangs the sheets outside and the smell of the sun is captured inside of them, if such a thing is possible.

    The smell of the ocean.

The smell of snow before it falls. (yes there really is a certian smell).

The smell of rain!! (love thunder storms and the smell of rain)

The baby wash they wash new borns with, just before they hand them to you in the hospital... mmm... i have that memorie with both of my children. So sweet and innocent.

The smell of the forest, woodsey and all, my great grandmother used to take us walking in washington state thru some of the very dense places, Loved the smell of it!
