    Was checking my heating bill. In two months (Jan 6 to March 6) I used 550 CCF.

    Then, they say between March 6 to April 6 I used 500 CCF.

    And I KNOW for a fact I used less starting in Feb, as I started using a nice space heater my dad bought me. I usually keep the t'stat at or below 68, after getting the heater I set it to about 66.

    Yet in one month (March 6 to April 6) I used MORE (and history of those months shows it was warmer from March to April) than the previous two months. At least thats what they say I used.

    I guess they are mad....and wanna screw who they can, like the oil companies.

    In 57 days (for some reason they skipped the Feb bill, it isn't even shown on their site) I used the 550.

    Then they say in 31 days I used 500 CCF.

    Yet between Dec 6 and Jan 6 I only used 224 CCF. And that is generally the coldest months.

    These people are stupid. What sucks...I probably will get shafted, even with weather history backing me.

    Anyone a lawyer, or know a good one??

    Make sure the Jan to March one was not an 'estimate'.

    I had a similar thing happen this winter but with my electric (not sure if it works the same). The company did not take official readings, so just made up an estimate. Then when the real reading came in, I had to pay for the month plus the ammount they underestimated by.
