    When it is -16 below~! :eek:

    I went to do a bit of shopping with my kids this morning and by golly...I am GLAD that I parked close to the door.

    Current wind chills range down to -40, and tomorrow's high is not expected to get above 0. :(

    I think I'll get some hot apple cider and put a couple shots of rum and whiskey in it~!

    Hey ~PM~ have you ever tried taking a pan of boiling water and throwing it into the air? I've seen the videos and I've attempted it a couple of times here in Buffalo and was never able to get it to work as well as I've seen on the videos.

    I know. I had to run to the store and get gas this morning. Getting the gas was the hard bit but I was less than a quarter tank and that is bad when it gets this cold.

    God I hate Minnesota in winter!! Maybe its time to move to Arizona. My company has a branch there I could transfer to easily. I don't think Schrike wants to move just yet however. :)

    LOL... No, BD I haven't tried that, and I don't think I want to. I fear that if I did it actually happened...I'd never go outside in winter~!!

    Ahh yes, midwestern winters. I miss them so.

    People around here freak out when there is even a mention of a wind chill. Back in Wisconsin it was like, "Wind chill? I guess I'll have to put my pants on tomorrow and put away my summer shorts."

    Of course, last week when it did go down to -20F wind chill, I felt it. And I said to everyone that, finally, winter had arrived. I got a pillow thrown at me for that comment.

    Lol sent.

    I work at Fed Ex ground off a central and New Karner. I get to drive the tractors in the yard (nice easy job for 18 an hour). Unfortunatly the Ottawa tractor I drive doesnt produce much heat... tomarrow is gonna have -20 wind chills :)

    Today it was like 15 out and people were crying about it, I was like "Feels warm to me."

    P.S. Still gotta meet up for dinner and a movie at X gates.

    My goal was to not go out at all this weekend...but yesterday we had to...ugh.

    So today, jammies all day and just watch the temp drop. Unfortunalty I need some superball stuff (chips and what not)...but seeing that I really do not 'NEED' that, I will stay in (grin).

    The heat bill for this old house was nasty already, so not looking forward to the next one.

    Hope the car starts on Monday.

    Better you than me Race...I'm cuddled up with my flannels and big fuzzy slippers watching TV. I'll meet the cold soon enough tomorrow morning when I have to. :D
