SNOW DAY!!!

    yay!!! its snowing outside and i get to stay home today!!! lol i got up at 5:30 this morning and took a shower and everything, i was just about to walk out the door in about 2 min. then i saw my school closed on the news. I was like "Yay no school for me!!" :D

    Most schools were out here Monday - I'm lucky i still get to have snow days working at a school :lol:

    One of my favorite things.. free days off. :p

    that stinks tomorrow i think its supposed to be sunny so i don't think the snow will be here much longer :(

    Surprised they closed the school. Up here, the schools don't close for a heavy snow, only the buses that bring in the kids. Kinda sucked for those that normally walked to school because they had no excuse except for a snow day in school meant no real formal lessons for the day, more often than not it was a fun activity day because of the number of kids that would be missing.

    Heh... I remember when... We lived about a mile from our school out in the boonies but had to take a bus in. On snow days, Mom and Dad would scoot us off down the road to the school on the snowmobiles to get us out of their hair for the day.

    Its snowing here right now. Its been snowing every night for the past week, not a lot of accumulation though. Ive been out of grade school for 7 years now but I still love to listen to all the school closings on the radio on the way home from work.

    Snow is just a hassle now. Snow melts, storm front moves in, and some busy street floods and causes major traffic jams. All in all, not a big fan of snow anymore.

    I disagree. When I was a kid, I had around 200 feet of driveway to shovel. Now I have 100 feet of driveway to shovel. I'm also larger now, and have a larger shovel to fit, so it's much easier. :D

    snow days are still nice sometimes....i get to stay in and bake with the kids....drink the hot chocolate with marshies....and then play lotro until my butt gets numb....lol ....wooohhooo
