    Officer
Everyone. Please welcome Eporter, our newest Dragonwolf Recruit!

    Member Name: Eporter

Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes

What other guilds, outfits or squadrons have you been with or presently are with?: My previous experience with guilds is all from back in my wow days (about 5 years) and ranges from the ultra casual to the quite hardcore progression guilds.

If you were in a squadron, corporation or other type of group previously, what was it that prompted you to leave that group?:

Tell us about your Real Life self; (Age, Location, Family, Work, Schooling, Hobbies, etc).: I'm a 26 year old male nerd. I graduated from college in 2010 with a degree in Occupational Safety and Health and moved from Kentucky to central Illinois shortly thereafter to begin my career. I work for a concrete restoration contractor where I am the safety manager for the local division. About a year and a half ago I married my best friend in a fun ceremony back home.
My hobbies include a range of nerdy things including video gaming (but not as a dirty console peasant), computer hardware, Pretty much anything starwars, Board Gaming, and good thriller novels to name a few. My one true love when it comes to hobbies though is competitive Magic: the Gathering. I have been playing for about 10 years and have been playing competitively for about 5, with a year (or so) break when I had a job that prevented me from playing much. I dive into my hobbies and am (in all things) what magic players refer to as a spike (http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Psychographic_profile#Spike). In other words, I play games to win. It's not that I don't have fun when I play, it's just that for me the best way to have fun is to compete, get challenged, and win. To meet this goal I dive in and learn everything I can about the subject at hand to ensure I am properly prepared. If I can't make it to a large magic tournament, I'm one of the guys watching the coverage on the twitch stream soaking up whatever knowledge I can gleam from it. When I crack open a booster pack I'm more interested in the thought exercise of deciding what I would pick if that pack was pick one pack one of a draft than in what the value of the rare I opened is. When I played wow I was always at the top of the DPS charts for my class (usually the top period but their were points where I played a sub-optimal DPS class 'cause our raid needed a certain buff).
I found your guild through my friend Kornholio who I met through a board gaming group that my wife and I joined up here a year and a half ago. Kornholio and I share a lot of interests when it comes to gaming and we have been talking about star citizen for a while, so when he mentioned that his guild would be playing it, I thought it would be nice to play with all of you.
If I didn't cover anything that you're curious about, please just ask.

We use <a href="http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads" target="_blank">Teamspeak 3</a> as our in-game voice application. Do you have access to a headset and/or mic?: Yes

What is your username on the official Star Citizen forums?: Eporter

What are the role(s) you see yourself playing in Star Citizen?: I'm not exactly sure yet as we don't really know what the game will be like. I love the archetype of the good but lawless hero (Han Solo, Malcom Reynolds, robin hood) so maybe I'll smuggle goods or something like that. I'm pretty much up for whatever meshes well with what Kornholio is doing.

What ship(s) do you currently own?: Avenger

Which division(s) interest you?: Corporate Security (CorpSec), Exploration & Logistics, Manufacturing & Salvage

This division runs under the DragonWolves <a href="http://www.dragonwolves.com/coc/latest.pdf" target="_blank">Code of Conduct</a>. It is important that every applicant know what is expected of them within our corporation. Any questions can be presented to any of the Administration Staff of the DragonWolves. Please indicate that you have read and understood this document.: Yes I have read and understood the DragonWolves Code of Conduct

  6. Welcome!

Another serious Magic player, nice. Been playing off and on since 94. I also go to all local PTQs, SCG Opens, IQ's, GPTs, etc. Make the occasional road trip. Was at Vegas last June for the Modern Masters GP. I play with a friend and we typically maintain a 4-8x copy of standard. I've been building my legacy up for a cpl years but in no rush to actually play it much. Still do more limited most of the time unless there is a deck I really enjoy playing all the time in standard. Watch a good amount of the weekend streams also. Loved Ben Stark's Ohrzov aggro he played in Forth Worth, have to give it a try this week.

Pop into our Teamspeak server and get to know us a bit.

There's usually some of us logged in either playing a game or shooting the breeze. So come and be social.
We've begun (as in started it last night) a sort of Star Citizen Social Hour on Teamspeak starting at 9pm EST Sunday nights. While we will talk all things Star Citizen we will also discuss other things. Like if Mine-Disking was really a cheat or just using what the game gives you. Or if a F4U-Corsair could really outfly a BF-109.

  9. Welcome EPorter! Or is it just Eporter? I dunno. Whichever works for you.
