The Sims 4 is Free

I know it's not the same as our traditional games though, until May 28th, The Sims 4 on Mac/Windows PC can be claimed for free, forever. Simply login to Origin Client, agree to the EULA and select the Standard Edition; users can purchase the Digital Deluxe as well for £44.99 (or whatever it is in your currency).

There is also a contest taking place at the moment to recieve a one-of-a-kind "Ultimate Edition", which consists of the base game, every Game Pack, Stuff Pack and Expansion ever released, including the current StrangerVille Game Pack launched recently. The contest is being run by Sims Community Social and will be awarded randomly - to be within a chance a winning, register on the forums and reply only once to the thread below:

But even if you don't win, getting the Standard Edition is simple, and you can still purchase bundles of content packs for a discount.

[UPDATE] A lot of users may be trying to redeem the game, which is causing Orign Client to crash or fail to connect to the Online Store. To overcome this, log in to the website instead through your browser, using the link below:

If that still doesn't work, add it to your "Wishlist" first, and then add it to your "Library" from there.
