The Stanley Parable

So this game has been doing the rounds of the BBC's technology reports the past 12 hours. Originally created a HL2 mod, sandbox game The Stanley Parable is about a man named Stanley who works in an office building, only to find all of his colleagues have disappeared. As he begins to search for them, however, this is where his problems really begin, for the place he thinks he's been working in turns out to be a lot more complicated than he ever imagined.

Narrated as you go by Kevan Brighting, the exploratory aspect of it has shades of GLaDOS, as you find yourself on a voyage of discovery where trying to understand the world is to know nothing at all. It may tempt you, it may tease you... or it may just drive you mad!
