    All I remember from tribes was the custom sound packs with the two sounds I used the most - "oh no you did not shoot that green sh*t at me" and "they cut the power...what do you mean they cut the power man..they're animals"

    Ghost bears servers had customized sound pack s installed that recognized your login. Once you came in (and the sound pack was locally installed) you got a custom "intro music" piece. Mine was "Heeerre he comes to save the dayyyyyy!"

    It was epic for its time.

    Yup. I remember that pack too.. Pretty sure that was the 5150 sound pack.. v-g-h = 'Hi' v-2-2-8 'You got knocked the f--k out!'

    Ghostbears had it for a while.. I remember Big Red (Inet A.k.A This Place Here Server), where I believe many of us cut our teeth on Insomniax had a whole slew of those for clans like KSA, CDL, DuH, GB, TNP, T|R, RA ...( bet Im smacking off the cobwebs off the memory banks with some of those tags ).

    I also remember changing my ingame sounds like my repair gun played 'Slim Shady' whenever I repaired something.. My targeting laser played 'Black betty Ram-alam' So fun and customizable. BTW I have all the skins of the clans I just named too and some sound packs Ive made or collected. Funny thing about burning stuff to a CD.. if left alone.. can last years!
