even pirates need to do dishes

    so i've been teaching myself how to knit over the last year and a bit. i'm actually getting to the point where i can actually make things more than plain squares.

    so, in preparation for making a pirate bag for a close friend of mine, i was practicing the pattern i'll need for the purse strap. it's the same size as a washcloth, so i think i'll use it for just that.

    here's a pic. the scan isn't nearly as cool as the actual thing:

    100% cotton, so good for doing dishes with!



    oh, also, for all you firefly fans.. i also knitted the jaybe cobb hat. pics as follows:

    the picture does the hat no justice. the colours are a lot more vibrant than the webcam was able to capture

    i cna't wait to actually make the bag :p it'll be a REAL project! i want to try to get a sweater knitted by the end of the year too. that would be RAD!

    i remember one time during a scrim, mani cut me off when i was about to lance an enemy, and i smoked him instead

    you should've heard him YELL on TS!



    as for screenies, sorry mani, but i have no more tribes stuff on my pc. it went with my harddrive when that crashed awhile ago. i'm sure i could draw something up though :p i'll have to make sure to capture the delicious look of anguish on your face when that lance makes poetic contact with your buttocks :p
