    Hello everyone, it feels like it has been many years since I last visited these forums. I am sure that many of you around here have little to no memory of me, as I was a pretty shy member of the clan.

    I just wanted to thank those of you who were around during the Tribes 2 and Planetside days for the warm sense of community that all of you provided during a time of my life where I felt very isolated and alone. It really meant a lot to me to be part of this close-knit group of people. Thank you for everything.

    Awww, thanks everyone. :love:

    Well...maybe I just liked to hit the post button a lot (oh no, you caught me in my lie). I'm sure the new fastest dying thread helped contribute to that count as well.

    So what is everyone up to? Is there a "unifying" game that has been found yet?

    I just graduated from university (in physics and engineering, which is why I had disappeared for a while. Also, if anyone ever needs help in math/physics I can probably be of assistance), so I am spending a lot of time figuring out job options and fine tuning resumes/cover letters. However, if anyone plays TF2, I have been known to pop on every now and then.

    Nothing out there right now.
    We were playing Bad Company: Battlefield 2 for a while.
    Since then it's been Company of Heroes for most.
    Though I've been playing Mount & Blade: Warband for a couple of weeks and loving it. There's a mod called cRPG that might be a fun mod to play. You do need Mount & Blade: Warband to play it though.
    I'm probably going to be playing The Old Republic when it comes out next year. Will have to gauge our interest in the Sci-FI MMO to see if it might be a unifying game for everyone to play under.
    There's rumors circulating that SOE sold it's rights to Planetside2 to a Chinese developer though.

    That was just Publishing rights for overseas as I read it :D

    I guess I have been living in a cave for a while, because I have never heard of any of those games before. At least it sounds like there is a possibility of a Planetside 2 coming into existence in the not too distant future?
