I have updated the spreadsheet to accommodate the Cutlass variants.

 

Can anyone guess, but I want a Red! Damn bills and having to pay for food and housing and stuff. *stomps off in a huff*

Probably going to pick up a blue. The one thing I wish we had was information on fuel storage. I mean, if I add a jump drive, can I get farther without refueling than my 325? I assume so, but I'd like to know for sure.

I already have a 325 with LTI, and the MIS. Not sure I really need more firepower, but the storage capacity with the holding cells is a nice change, and I could probably use it for hunting bounties while I use the MIS for exploration (I may melt it for a DUR...though I love all the missiles) and the 325 for escort support.

 

Ok, really on the fence on picking this up. I might wait for the Avenger variants instead, though they are much smaller. Any advice?

I think the cutlass is one of the most underated ships we have access to...........with the avenger right next to it. I like the cutlass cause at least to me it is much easier to change mission roles on the fly much faster and smoother with a cutlass than any other ship currently out there to be honest

 

No worries, dude. Considering we're not entirely sure about the Cutlass Blue's configurability yet, and that the Black is store-permanent, I'm gonna hold off on making purchases until I see the Avenger variants (and this Deep-Space fighter oooooooh). If they aren't what I'm looking for, I'll pick up a Black.

 

I picked up a blue.

After doing a lot of reading on it last night, I'm happy with my upgrade. Though, lots of guys are up in arms about how CIG was advertising the cutlass as a 'pirate' style ship with the ability to be super modular.. and now it's getting more specific roles pushed upon it. Also, how all variants will have the docking collar and tractor beam.

Considering the amount of people who are pissed about the variants, CIG is actually starting over with the interiors of the blue and the red starting I believe this week. Watch and shoot on that one.

Personally, after walking through the blue.. the docking collar will have to be moved or removed to accommodate the prison cells.

If it were removed, I'd rather see an option for a belly turret in it's place, ALA Millennium Falcon style. Would seem rather fitting considering the style of ship.
