    Ezekiel is one of the prophets that served as oracles for God to the people of Israel. They often gave messages of doom or judgement unless the people repented.

    Many of the prophets of old were stoned to death or sawn in two or suffered other imaginative deaths for proclaiming God's word.

    Don't you ever think its weird how people believe in prophets and things like that from back in the day, but now we think people claiming to do such things are loons and we only hear about that in fantasy novels.
