I um have a copy.

But seriously I may buy a copy once I can afford it. I'm impressed with the fact you can pick up weapons of those you've killed.

 

i hear there are alrdy wallhacks going around for this game alrdy because there is no punkbuster set up yet anybody know if this is true?

Well it runs off the same if not a similar engine to MoH which if you ask Sky and myself gave TWL staffers a headache for a LONG time. I just hope they learned from the mistakes they made with the MoH line when developing CtD cause it's a stellar game.

Edit: Whoops, sort of got carried away with the righteous indignation, but I wouldn't mind getting in the TWL tourney with CDL.

 

ok so thats how Cyber and I keep getting sniped from accross the map with Bar's . I wouldn't mind playin with CDL either.....Just keep in mind I can be quite awfull on certain maps

 

There is nothing wrong with your ire. I too think that cheaters steal the enjoyment of other players by their actions. Rant on, my brother!

Wellll some really bad news...i went under cover after getting an email from someone who claimed he had all the hacks so far for call of duty.

I emailed this guy asking him where he got the site etc as i planned to use them which im not.

I now have the link to these hacks and here are what hacks are out there...

In regards to cheats, nothing's cheat proof and running a Q3 powered game is probably a catch 22 in this regard. On the one hand you get to start with an established engine that is more resistant to cheats then others thanks to purity checking and the like. On the other hand because your start with an established engine so the hackers have a starting point to go from for hacking it to pieces.

Thing is the 'kill-cam' reveals obvious cheating pretty easily since you get to watch and see how the guy spotted you. And so far in probably 20+ hours of play this weekend I didn't see anyone kill me in a way that was suspect.

Kill-cam + punkbuster support eventually should do real well for keeping cheaters undercontrol.

 

Yeah...not bad..I have seen a few suspect things(2 or 3 at the most) but nothing that says blaten cheater. But then again, you see through their eyes with your textures not theirs .

There will always be cheats and hacks...just try to enjoy the game to the fullest extent dealing with both the morons and the good people.

 

Even with the hacks, the game is still pretty fun, as long as it's not that damn ardennes map.
