Hello, Quick Question.

    Are you guys still running the occasional public squad?

    I've been playing since December and have not joined an outfit yet due to the rude and disrespectful comm chatter I hear in some of those larger public outfit squads; I've been cautious of the crowd that the game would bring as "F2P".

    I'm looking for a small/medium sized outfit of ADULTS. I prefer to play with people who have similar priorities in life as myself that understand things like having spouses, jobs and infant children; or at least can understand and respect them.

    It's hard to find a good small/medium outfit squad that's open to the public, so I decided to take my search to the internet!

    If it's something you guys still do, I'd love to join you one night. I prefer combat medic (max applicator and nano regen) and Heavy Assault (I dream of my TMG-50 at night).

    We still do run the public open squad. Usually on Friday nights (starting now at 9pm EST) but we're going to open them up to every night that isn't a scheduled operation night. Our open squad will be listed something along the lines of "CDL .. Something". Look for us there if you wish to run with us.

    We use Teamspeak 3 for communications while in game but have used the ingame voice chat too. You're more than welcome to come on when we're playing and running with us. Server is ts3.dragonwolves.com. Anyone of Dragonwolf member status can pull you to the Planetside channels. Just message a CDL member in game to let us know you're in Teamspeak.

    We run scheduled Outfit Operation nights are Mondays and Thursdays (starting next week) from 830pm EST to about 10pm.

    During the week, we play quite casually, sometimes a few but normally about 6+ in game at around primetime. Weekends, a little more. Operations nights about 2-3 squads. We coordinate our efforts with a TR alliance on Waterson called the Grand Army of the Republic consisting of several outfits that range in sizes of large spearheads to smaller ones like us.

    We are a smaller outfit for sure and pretty much fit the profile you're looking for. I'll venture to say the average age of our members would be in the lower 30's with a range from mid 20's upwards towards mid 50's. Many of us have been gaming together for ten years or more and have become very close friends.

    We're a good natured bunch... While we play towards specific goals but we're not strict militaristic that some outfits are. We play to have fun, together and there's many times where we'll have a good laugh too! While we have administrative leadership, everyone has a voice in our group.

    Great, thanks for the reply!

    This sounds exactly what I'm looking for.

    Just looking to find a good group of folks who enjoy playing with everyone they choose to share an outfit with. A group that enjoys strategy/tactical play but still have fun and not take things too seriously.

    I'll look for you guys tonight!

    Tonight is one of our official Operations Nights. You're welcome to come along though and give us a shot. I would highly recommend downloading Teamspeak and configuring it as the links posted say you should. We usually form up for ops around 8:15pm EST and roll out around 8:30pm EST.
