A Short Story

This is a short story about my feelings about the world and current events.

Date Line



Date line March 15th 2003: After mounting world wide opposition to the US lead action against Iraq the US and the UK have with drawn its troops from the Persian Gulf and the Middle East. Israel has placed its entire military on high alert and close their boarders. Iraq announces that it has won a major war against the great Satan (the US) and says it is ready to enter the world community.

Date Line April 15th 2003: North Korea, following Iraq’s lead agrees to UN inspections again and seems to quiet down. There is mounting pressure from the world for US to have a change in leadership. Many countries threaten to cut off trade from the US if a change is not made.

Date Line May 15th 2003: The US and Great Britain announce they well remove all troops and recall all ships from around the world, back to their native countries. They also ask all foreign diplomats to leave. The US gives the UN 30 days to close its door in New York.

Date Line June 15th 2003: All US and British military forces have with drawn back to their native countries. The UN sets up a new home in Paris.

Date Line July 1st 2003: The US and the UK stop all trade with outside countries, they also stop out going and incoming flights into their countries. The US builds a wall along its boarders with Mexico.

Date Line August 15th 2003: All communication from the US, UK, Canada and Israel stop. Iraq masses its troops on the Kuwait boarder and North Korea kills all UN weapons inspectors. India and Pakistan mass troops along their boarders. China is massing troops along the Russian board and several ships are in the strait between Taiwan and China.

Date Line September 30th 2003: NATO reports that several large radar blips were picked up leaving the Earth, from North America and Great Britain, and heading out in to space. NATO forces are placed on full alert. Iraq invades Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. North Korea invades South Korea and takes that country in less than 48 hours.

Date Line October 30th 2003: A small French force reports back from England. London is empty, every house they found was empty, and no human life was found. The French are continuing their search of all major cities in the UK. NATO sends a plane to the US.

Date Line November 1st 2003: Pakistan, the United Korea and Iraq sign an alliance treaty. Pakistan and Korea trade Nukes with Iraq for oil. Russia threatens to nuke China if it does not remove the troops along the board with Russia. Iraq nukes Israel and no response comes from Israel. The new alliance threatens the rest of world unless they agree to their demands.

Date Line November 2nd 2003: NATO forces report back from New York City. “The City is empty, every man woman and child is gone.” They are now heading to Washington D.C.

Date Line November 3rd 2003: NATO forces report from Washington D.C. “The city is empty like New York. We entered the White House and found a note on the President’s desk. It said, "And the meek shall inherit the Earth”."

 

A meek is a submissive person among other things. It is spelled right.
