    Though not upcoming, it follows similar principles as Banished in that it requires you to balance resources whilst earning money from taxes to create large cities.

    The game is browser based and requires you to have UPlay/Ubisoft account, but it is free-to-play and once you start to upgrade buildings, you eventually receive something that lets you create premium currency (called "Rubies") without having to purchase some:

    Make sure you select the correct region should we establish a Guild in the game.

    Used to play the Anno 2070 and Dawn of Discovery series which were both very enjoyable. I'll have to look into this one.
