    not sure how intense you guys get w/ the battlefield series. If anyone wants to keep up w/ the info, here is some info on bf2 which is supposedly going to be released march 2005:

    One of the battlefield teams has a dev in their clan and some live in sweden so they went over to the dice studios in sweden and reported about the upcomming game.

    you might want to think why they are calling it bf2 and not bf3. It's because canada made bf:v which was just an attempt of EA making another cash grab, dice swedens office (who made 1942) won't even recognize it as part of the battlefield series.

    I am looking forward to BF2. I was a big fan of BF1942, the RtR addon and the Desert Combat mods although Secret Weapons was a letdown. BFV was fun when we fought CDL vs CDL but the early imbalances in the game made it loose its shine.
