    This is River Festival week. A spring fertility festival here in Wichita. Normally I take my vacation during it so I don't have to go near it.

    Back home we have a festival similar to that called Walleye Weekend. It's a national walleye fishing tournament on Lake Winnebago. What it really is is an excuse to drink. Not that Fond du Lac needs an excuse, but this just legitimizes it. Anyway I've been following some of my local friends on Facebook and they've got a contest going to spot the most muffin-tops this year. I said that the number would be about 643 +/- 20.
