Well...Our Lilacs trees are...

For those of you in Minnesota, if you get the Star-Tribune paper, check out the "Home + Garden" Section, my wife sent in a picture of our lilacs, so they called her up~!

Gardener Melissa King inherited a yard full of lilacs when she and her husband bought their Fridley home five years ago. Though plentiful, the lilacs were overgrown. "They're supposed to be shrubs, but they were trees," she said. Last fall, she gave them a good pruning, and this spring she was rewarded with renewed growth. "I love lilacs," she said. "They're like a childhood memory for me."
