So, my ole lady got me one for Christmas, she was so excited about it she couldnt wait to give it to me.

Well, she blew all her money on the top dollar version (with HD and other crap), she couldnt buy me a game, so we rented a few.

Anyone got any suggestions on the best games out for this unit? I hate sports games, so none of that, anything else yall might be really impressed with?

I actually went and bought myself "Chromehounds", because I have played it at a friends house and I really enjoyed it. So that is one game knocked off my list.

Any good RPG's to play on 360, looked at Enchanted Arms and wondering about it, didnt like Oblivion on the PC, so I wont like it on 360, anything else anyone has seen that may be out or soon?

Rainbow Six: Vegas is supposed to be really really good as well.

  4. Definitely Gears of War, and if you like that game, then definitely get Rainbow 6 Vegas. I have it on computer, but I don't really like the controls that much. Feels like it'd be much better on the 360. What else... Dead or Alive 4 if you enjoy watching what makes DOA so popular, the girls!

Thats all I can really think of...

  5. Now that GF is a keeper.

GoW is defintely a blast. I just signed up for Gamefly, basically netflix for games as they cover me for 360, PS2, Wii, and DS Lite games and have a great selection plus you can decide to keep the games and the prices are excellent. Got R6 Vegas for 360 and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin for DS within a few days. I got about 20 mins of play into R6 and had to quit. I'll give it one more good try before I decide on it, but its just no where near as exciting as GoW. I guess I like the running and diving alot more.

I prefer CoD on PC, though CoD2 had a big following on 360 and CoD3 is a good followup I think I'll just wait for CoD4 on PC. Saints Row if you like GTA style games. The Table Tennis game from Rockstar I hear is pretty fun and addiciting and can usually find it cheap.

Download the Lost Planet demo, I thought it was fun. Arcade has some great hits like SF and MK. If you didn't have an Xbox, there are a ton of great games you can get used and cheap also. Ninja Gaiden Black, Black, etc. With the last update most of the good games are supported now.

    Update..

    Rented:
    1. Ninety Nine Nights (fun, nice graphics, LOTS of button mashing, utilizes some heavy hardware capabilities.) will be purchasing
    2. Enchanted Arms (nice graphics, decent turn based battle system, suck ass story and training mode, not worth playing 50+ hrs to complete.)
    3. Dead Rising (fun, but I can see it will get old quick, just a renter)
    4. Marvel Ultimate Alliance (fun, nice graphics, cool upgrade abilites and side options, nice multiplayer aspect) probably will buy when I find some used.
    5. Just Cause (badass, graphics arent that great, but the versatility is amazing, think GTA but on a larger scale, and involving the cuban islands and the revolution)
    6. Rainbow Six (badass graphics, too used to FPS on a Computer, will take some learning, just a renter for now)
    7. Burnout (best graphics so far IMO, only played Demo so I couldnt utilize all the racing modes and car options) will buy if I can find used.
    8. Cant find a demo of Gears of War or a rental of it, will probably do the "Gamefly" thing if only to get Gears of War and a few others I cant find for rent.
    9. Superman (played Demo, cartoony graphics for the most part, but it can have some awesome displays every now and then, nice abilities and really just an all around fun factor in the exploration and devastation you can cause) probably buy when extra cash is laying around

Well thats my Opinion for now, wish I could find a decent RPG for the 360, only 2 are Enchanted Arms and Oblivion (which I hated on PC so I figured I will on the 360 as well)

  8. If Blue Dragon makes it to the US it could be interresting.

The Superman was oddly fun. Was a little suprised the reviews were so bad for it. I don't know if its got any multi-player but playing a bad guy would be much more fun.

R6 - I got as far as the top of the church so far and starting fighting off the guys in the bottom.

  9. Let me know if you want to co-op R6, I love that game. The name is Pweor on xblive.
I like the Fremont street map a lot :)

  10. Got Pweor added. I'm Dracowolfe on Live, who else we got?
